Facebook Holding Event To Announce New H.Q.

Facebook has sent out an invite to members of the press for an event February 8 to announce the company’s new headquarters. A company representative told CNET news, “The press event on Tuesday at Menlo Park City Hall is regarding a campus that will fit our long-term business needs.”

The new campus has been reported for months, but Facebook recently finalized the deal, as confirmed by Palo Alto online. With a fresh round of funding from Goldman Sachs, the social network has plenty of money to get a new office and even potentially expand a server farm in Oregon.
