If you havenât caught the news by now, February 14th is that day when people the world over do the unthinkable in the name of love. If youâre one of those who hasnât yet found your love, a new site would like to try to help.
Like Me Date Me is a site that is based off of the Facebook Open Graph. You simply login with Facebook, then you can edit your profile to give a bit more information about yourself. After youâre done, you can choose to browse through other members who have signed up on the site. See something you like? Click the button and a message will be sent to them letting them know.

If someone âLikesâ you back, you can start a private conversation with them through the site. If they havenât, you can still send them a public question or message. The profiles are kept very clean and simple, which is likely a good thing. When youâre basing your entire site on a single button click, thereâs no need to complicate things.

The site is free (of course) and doesnât officially launch until February 14th. While that might be at the time of our writing, depending on what part of the world youâre in, weâre guessing that Like Me Date Me is a US-based site and will be getting its major push sometime in the next 12 hours.
For now, there are very few members, but thatâs why weâre telling you about it. Itâs time for a few of us to get away from our computersâ¦even if we use our computers to make that happen. So drop by, give a browse and see what you can find. Chances are, thereâs going to be a major influx of new users over the next few hours so itâs worth a try back if the choices are slim thus far.
If you do end up scheduling a date for Valentineâs day, let us know. Maybe social media can save Valentineâs day after all.
